Nuclear Power Plant Environmental Information Network System started operation. (Collecting the information of the nuclear power plant operation and of the environmental monitoring by nuclear facility operators was started.)

Fukui Prefectural Environmental Radiation Research and Monitoring Center became independent of the Institute of Public Health.

The Environmental Radiation Monitoring Telemetry System was replaced. (The connection with the Nuclear Power Plant Environmental Information Network System was done to share the monitoring data, and sub monitoring stations were expanded from 5 points to 11.)

Collecting the stack gas monitor data was started at the Nuclear Power Plant Environmental Information Network System.
The Prefectural Office Sub Monitoring Station was opened at the Prefectural Office Hall.

Fukui Prefectural Environmental Radiation Research and Monitoring Center Web Site was opened.
Emergency monitoring equipment was provided in the Nuclear Emergency Response Operation Facility (Offsite Center) which was constructed newly in four places of Fukui Prefecture.
