The data measuring may miss because of maintenance of measuring equipment or data processing computer.
In such cases, the data is displayed as “under maintenance”.
The indicated values, which are different according to the influence of natural radiation or property of equipment, vary from 8 to 30 cps. Though sometimes the value exceed the usual range under the influence of the power plant’s operation, it is caused by the emission of the radioactive gaseous waste that is monitored and confirmed that it has no effect to the environment.
The value of discharge canal monitor may rise temporarily when the natural radioactive materials (radon daughter) fall down on the ground with rain or snow and flow into the outlet.
Air radiation dose rate continues fluctuating every minute. At the rainfall or snowfall, natural radioactive materials (such as radon daughter) fall down on the ground with rain or snow and the detected value may rise temporarily. It decreases during the snow cover period.
Air radiation dose rate fluctuates according to the 　change of the density of natural radioactive materials (such as radon daughter). More specifically, it gradually increases from the night to the morning, and gradually decreases in the daytime. Furthermore, it has the feature that it fluctuates periodically every day (In time-series graph, it fluctuates in wavelike form).

The test may be conducted while the operation is running at the output level reduced by several % to confirm the soundness of turbine steam valve periodically.
